What is the Alumni Campaign?

In 2005, we launched our first ever Society of Graduates Alumni Campaign in support of HPME’s $6 million fundraising goal to fund the state-of-the art facility at 155 College, secure endowed faculty support, and to establish fellowships for students. To help HPME achieve its goal, The Society of Graduates set an ambitious multi-year goal of $150,000 to name the HPME Society of Graduates Student Centre. This space is dedicated to nurturing the student experience and contains computer workstations, a comfortable student lounge and fully equipped conference room. All of these features help to provide an outstanding and unique student experience, which is the first priority of the University’s academic vision.

How much have we raised?

Since our 2005 campaign launch we have raised $50,147 or 33% of our goal from 66 donors, including $10,000 from the Society of Graduates of HPME itself. Of the 65 individual donors who have contributed, 27 have made a pledge of $1,000 or more to help make the HPME Society of Graduates Student Centre a reality.

How much should I give?

We appreciate any level of support that you can give. An income tax receipt will be provided for all contributions.

How can I make a donation?

You can make your donation electronically at the University of Toronto’s Secure Giving Site, or you can simply print, complete and fax the Gift Form (below) to the Office of Advancement, Faculty of Medicine, at 416-946-7722 (fax).
