Accreditation Excellence

In April 2006, the MHSc Health Administration Program was awarded an eight-year accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education. This is the highest possible ranking, and IHPME is one of only two programs in North America to hold this award. The award acknowledged the program’s excellence in the following areas:

• Integration of the field of practice into all aspects of the program, facilitated by strong relationships with leading health care practitioners and organizations both provincially and nationally.
• A faculty of leading researchers who incorporate the latest health services research and innovative thinking into their teaching.
• A strong problem-based learning format that places emphasis on experiential learning.
• The high caliber of the students enrolled in the program -- professionals from all segments of the health sector.
