IHPME’s Continuing Education programs provide leadership training and critical research appraisal skills to clinical and non-clinical healthcare leaders across all levels of the health care system. Two programs are offered annually:

Physician Leadership Program

The Physician Leadership Program is very popular among physicians seeking to develop leadership skills and knowledge in order to facilitate change within their organizations.

Clinical Epidemiology Institute

The Clinical Epidemiology Institute provides participants with the understanding and tools to critically appraise and use clinical research in a wide variety of health settings. This unique program provides an essential foundation for evidence-based decision-making.

Continuing education programs do not count towards a graduate degree, but may contribute to credits from the College of Family Physicians of Canada or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. See individual programs for details.
